“ I came here with my friend at lunch time and we got the $20 all you can eat! Wow it was amazing and definitely worth it! everything we tried was sooo good especially the jalapeño cream cheese peppers. ”
“ When you visit the restaurant you have a choice of ordering off the menu or going with the All You Can Eat (AYCE) option. Normally you would think the quality might be less, but it's not. Everything I tried was good. I tried as much as I could manage: Sushi rolls, hibachi chicken, hibachi steak, coconut shrimp, teriyaki snapper, tempura cheesecake, green tea ice cream, etc. Any one of these items I would order again. I look forward to going back so I can try more. If you're in the mood for sushi, this is the place to get your fix. Want to try something new without committing your entire meal to it? This is the place to be. Staff are friendly and the restaurant was lively without being too loud. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and look forward to going ag ”
“ Definitely my favorite AYCE sushi restaurant in the Houston area with the best sashimi to offer--my personal picks from the dinner menu are the salmon and escolar sashimis, which are always cut very large and fresh every time, and the mango salmon appetizer. Service is quick, attentive, and friendly; overall a must-try if you are in the area! ”
“ Wow oh wow! I've heard of this place through a friend and was told I had to try it out - and it did not disappoint! First, of course the food: -I never truly had any sort of comment for miso soup, or tempura batter being used, since I primarily focus on making sure it comes out hot and fresh fish but this is the only place that actually made me appreciate these tiny details. -I am obviously a salmon lover and the fish:rice ratio was perfect!!! It wasn't too small nor too big, and this place got it down for the rice ratio, even for the rolls. A lot of AYCE packs in rice to make you fuller but this experience gave you that satisfaction that they weren't just cheaping out. -appetizers were all good but the pepper tuna was coated perfectly with the pepper. Good quality fish definitely used here. In regards of service, we can in during the lunch time so it was slow however, I noticed that the servers just knew when you needed a refill, napkins, and knew when to come by. As a previous server, timing is everything so they brought it all out nicely. The place itself isn't too fancy but it's cozy! I love the decorations, and although it was small, it was decent. Overall I would give it a 9/10 This is my top 1 ranking next to Sushi Masa in sugarland for me. Now that my standards are up here, I'm looking to see whom can compete in the Houston Area! ”
“ We've been here two times now since moving to the area and both times were great! The plating is always beautiful, everything is clean and food always comes out super fast. The prices are reasonable as well for sushi! Definitely recommend this place! Their all you can eat sushi deal is also superrrrr nice when you feel like you are hungry as a horse! ”
“ Sushi Ichii, I will never hate you. I moved further away but drove 40 minutes to eat here today, and everything tasted exactly like the first day I walked in here. Sashimi quality was SUPERB. Thick, fresh, beautiful slices of fish. The sushi rolls, as you can see, bore the thinnest layer of rice I've ever seen at an AYCE, stuffed with protein and other toppings. Please get the Sweet Dream roll which has sweet potato and spicy salmon, it will change your life. This place has surpassed Sushi Masa imo, not only because of their sushi but also the overall quality of food and service. ”
“ Nut allergy warning: They have a peanut avocado roll, so suggest informing your server to make rolls separately. We arrived at 11:50 AM on a Saturday morning and it was relatively empty. Got much fuller toward 1 PM. Service was quite fast and remained pretty fast throughout our 2-3 orders. We got our first food within 10 minutes of ordering and I don't think it ever took more than 15 minutes between ordering a roll and receiving it. For 3 people, we ordered a total: 3 Miso Soup 2 Seaweed Salad 2 Edamame 1 Jalapeno Bomb 2 Coconut Shrimp 2 Pepper Tuna 3 piece White Tuna Sushi 3 piece Red Snapper Sushi 3 piece Salmon Sushi 7 Teriyaki Red Snapper 1 Rainbow Roll 1 Tuna Special Roll 1 Eel Avocado Roll 2 Eggplant Tempura 3 Tuna Tataki 1 Alaska Roll 1 Cow Boy Roll 1 Luna Tuna Roll Various ice creams Overall, we enjoyed that the rolls weren't too heavy on the rice, but the lunch menu didn't have many special roll options that weren't spicy or fried or with jalapeno. There are no sashimi options on the lunch menu and the nigiri are very rice heavy. So although the lunch option is cheaper, I would say it's not worth the loss of these options. A couple other misses: -The cold water tasted a bit off. I eventually just ordered a hot green tea and other people in my party got hot water. -The restrooms were missing paper towels and when we let them know, it wasn't fixed. ”
“ AYCE... your probably thinking I go for the lunch price because it's cheaper but before you decide... lunch has less appetizer options, less dessert options and no sashimi. So if you are a sashimi person is there really a choice? Well? So of course I paid the regular price. Appetizers: Tana Dumpling - very good nice contrast of textures Mango Salmon - surprisingly tasty Kitchen Appetizers: Coconut Shrimp - good Gyoza - didn't try.. heard it was good Octopus Balls - good Sesame Balls - slightly over fried but good Tempura: Pumpkin - yummy Sweet Potato - yummy Shrimp - on the small side Soups: Clear Soup - like onion Soup Sashimi: Scallop - scallop cut in half - small but tasty Salmon - delicious, flavor and texture just right Escolar - delicious, flavor and texture just right Tuna - meh, texture was off Unagi - delicious Handrolls: Spider - disappointed- not enough crab Salmon Skin - crispy but not great Specialty Rolls: Fuji Volcano Roll - a lot going on, texture and taste...delicious Lion King Roll - tasty Dessert: Tempura Banana - delicious... crispy outside and sweet banana inside Service was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a family atmosphere. And they do keep track of your 2hrs. Shared parking lot and it gets crowded quickly on a weekend. ”
